During an official visit to Greece, coinciding with his assumption of duties to the Agency, the Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency (EDA), Lieutenant General André DENK, held a series of working meetings with senior officials of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), and the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation (HCDI).

Discussions focused on strengthening European defence cooperation, Greece’s dynamic involvement in EDA’s programs and initiatives, as well as on the considerable potential of the future collaboration between the Agency and the Greek defence, research and innovation sectors, including the HCDI.

The visit of the Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency (EDA) in Athens reflected both the high level of partnership between Greece and the Agency, and our nation’s commitment to contributing to the achievement of the shared European objectives in the field of Defence and Security.
