The Director-General of the General Directorate of National Defence Policy and International Relations (GDNDPIR) of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence, Ambassador a.h. Michel Spinellis, held bilateral consultations on 30 September, 2025, with his counterpart, Major General (AF) Nasser bin Saad Al – Khathran, Executive Director-General of Policy and Strategy at the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The aforementioned consultations were conducted within the framework of the “Military and Security Committee” of the Greek-Saudi Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation.

Discussions focused on deepening bilateral defence relations between the two countries on matters of mutual interest. Additionally, the security situation and recent geopolitical developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East were comprehensively reviewed.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, both sides acknowledged the high level of defence cooperation between their countries and reaffirmed their commitment to enhance it further through both bilateral and multilateral efforts.
