The General Director of National Defence Policy and International Relations, Dr Konstantinos P. Balomenos, had, on Friday 25 June 2021, a courtesy meeting at the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence with Poland’s Defence Attaché in Greece, Colonel Zbigniew RYBKA, and his successor, Colonel Jan KURDZIALEK.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were discussed, such as the strengthening of defence cooperation between Greece and Poland, as well as other current issues within the NATO Alliance and the European Union.

Finally, security challenges and threats were discussed in the wider environment of Eastern Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea.
