The General Director of the General Directorate of National Defence Policy and International Relations (GDNDPIR) of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence, Ambassador a.h. Michel Spinellis, participated in the Conference on Military Mobility, as well as in the Informal Meeting of the EU Defence Policy Directors, organised in Warsaw, by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, on 13 and 14 March 2025 respectively.

During the Military Mobility Conference, Defence Policy Directors had the opportunity to be briefed by experts and exchange views on the need to strengthen the individual functional areas of Military Mobility, to increase investment and strengthen the relevant cooperation between the EU and NATO.

The Informal Meeting the EU Member States’ Defence Policy Directors discussed the defence support provided by the EU to Ukraine, as well as the future of European defence. The Meeting concluded with a specialised session dedicated to countering hybrid threats.
