The Director-General of the General Directorate of National Defence Policy and International Relations (GDNDPIR) of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence, Ambassador a.h. Michel Spinellis, held bilateral consultations on 10 November 2025, with his counterpart, Major General (AF) Nasser bin Saad Al – Khathran, Executive Director-General of Policy and Strategy at the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These consultations were conducted within the framework of the “Military and Security Committee” of the Greek-Saudi Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation.

Discussions focused on deepening bilateral defence relations between Greece and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, presenting the “AGENDA 2030”, and the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation (HCDI). Additionally, the security situation and recent geopolitical developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East were thoroughly reviewed.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties acknowledged the high level of defence collaboration between their countries and reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance it through both bilateral and multilateral initiatives.
